you mean PET bottles. they are very good, but all plastics allow air
through (at different rate). So, not as good as glass bottles. They
should be brown, not transparent/colorless, or you need to keep them
in dark.
in case of a fixer, it must have some sulfite and/or bisulfite added,
otherwise they are won't last long, particularly important for
ammonium salt. keeping qualities are better in slightly alkaline
solution. Acidic favour decomposition with elementar sulfur deposits.
