thank you very much, this is exactly what i need, by the way, what a
conincidence, just 2 days ago I read your book about collision
detection, I need the apparatus discussed above just for collision
detection, the problem is that all this stuff must be transformed into
time domain, i mean that everything is moving (i.e., there is no n1 and
n2 but n1(t) and n2(t) as well as d1(t) and d2(t) - all as a function
of time), so I'm basically solving continuous collision detection, but
I think I can use your advice
