Subject: Re: Using colour to indicate response intensity

David,

mapping spectral colors to RGB working space colors
or monitor colors requires a very harsh gamut compression,
many degrees of freedom HOW to do this.

Doing this in a naive manner will result in fully saturated
monitor colors which are not printable by offset (for books
or magazines).

If your graphics are not intended for printing books or
other publications, then you may leave it at that.

I have added new palettes, sorted by Hue (p.6):

Additionally the representation in a CMYK printing space
(p.7).
