Judging by the second example, your method seems to be
powerful.
I would appreciate an explanation about the details of the
strategy.
It's an approximation, therefore a proof is not possible -
a verification by several examples would be sufficient IMHO.

The Offset B=E9ziers are approximations for the true offset
curves, by B=E9zier polynomials, after solving three linear
equations.
The title graphic was made by one B=E9zier path and two
pairs of Offset B=E9ziers, additionally with round end caps.
A further search in this forum by 'Tiller-Hanson' might be
useful (the method itself isn't).
