## Subject: **Re: Convert a Polyline with spline fit to BEzier**

I have a series of control points of a B-Spline

p1, p2, p3, p4, p5, p6, p7

and a knot vector

0 0 0 0 134 303 537 664 664 664 664

How is described in 'An Introduction to B-Spline Curves' of Thomas W.

Sederberg, I try to calculate the control points of each Bezier segment

(with affine combination).

For each iteration i have 4 Control Points of B-Spline with 6 elements

of knot vector:

p1 p2 p3 p4 with 0 0 0 0 134 303 (in blossom form p(0,0,0); p(0,0,0);

p(0,0,134) and p(0,134,303) )

p2 p3 p4 p5 with 0 0 0 134 303 537

p3 p4 p5 p6 with 0 0 134 303 537 664

p4 p5 p6 p7 with 0 134 303 537 664 664

but after this iteration i can't continue. Maybe i need another point

p8? What is wrong?
