Subject: 8 bit windows



in a 8-bit depth OpenGL window i see problems with both glRasterPos two and
three. i am rendering bitmap fonts and they seem to always display at the
bottom of the window. now on depths > 8 everything is ok on windows.
on any other platform i haven't seen this problem with Mesa or OpenGL
regardless of the depth.

does anyone know if the Windows software implementation of OpenGL has
problems relating to 8-bit depth ?
