Subject: 1/z interpolation etc..
I've been told that if you're dealing with non-piercing
(non-intersecting) polygons, interpolating z across scanlines (in
screen space) as opposed to the correct 1/z is OK as far as z-buffer
concerns go. This doesn't seem obvious to me? Is this a correct
statement? Can anyone offer refutation/confirmation?
