Hi Helen,

I am working with someone from your company on this (IT department perhaps).

Stock Photos does not support authenticating proxy. They may in the future, but right now, they don't. I'm sorry, but they are aware of the issue. The work around has been sent, we don't put it on the website because we (support that is) have been asked to provide it on an as needed basis.

The Update Manager doesn't support authenticating proxy either, the next release will. Again, I'm sorry.

The other generic connection error are all being attempted on the standard http port of 80. I have also sent some other possible work arounds for that issue.
