check these settings
Windows
Automatic Configuration (proxy.pac), you will see this in WIN IE
Tools-> Internet Options -> Connections -> Local Area Network -> One of the Automatic Configuration boxes is checked
MANUAL CONFIG
Tools-> Internet Options -> Connections -> Local Area Network -> Use a Proxy Server
Macintosh
Apple -> System Preferences -> Internet & Netrwork -> Network -> Proxies
