Subject: please help! Camera Raw problems

Hi

I am using Photoshop CS on Mac os X and a Nikon D70 camera. When I open .NEF files I only get a small window with white balance and exposure comp adjustments. I understand there are more options available in Camera Raw, so I have downloaded the latest version, and taking advice from msgs on here removed the NIKON NEF Plugin, but when I do that the .NEF files will not open at all, I get the msg "Could not complete request, photoshop does not supply these services by this plug in"

Can anyone suggest anything else?
