Subject: Wrong colors when preview turned off

i encountered a strange behaviour when turning off the preview in ACR after making changes to both curves and settings.

the un-previewed images does not look like it should: sometimes it's lighter, sometimes darker, somtimes it's got different contrast.

you can even compare by color picker that the un-previewed image has changed it's colors.

can anybody tell me why?
