Subject: Re: saving adjusted raw images
I'm afraid I'm not a Nikon user, so I am only suggesting things that I have read in other threads. But do you have the Nikon plug-in for Photoshop installed? If you do, you need to get rid of it. It causes all sorts of problems. After you have edited your RAW image in Camera Raw, what happens if you click on the "Open" button? It should open in Photoshop so that you can continue with your editing. Then you should have all of the standard Photoshop save options available to you, but you will not be able to save as RAW or DNG from Photoshop.
