ACR Calibrate Tab question:
This thread actually started with a discussion of the Calibrate tab in ACR and the use of the 24-patch Macbeth Color Checker. I think I might have gotten things onto this more enlightening track, but a side track nevertheless, with my question about my old LunaPro meter. So, if I may try to return to the original theme, I have a question.
I have only made two runs with the script by Mr. Fors, which Bruce Fraser recommends, and I intend more experiments. So far, however, the two sets of numbers produced by the script did result in colors that appear more accurate, but they also appear over saturated. Has anyone else had this experience with the new beta script for ACR in CS2? I am using a D70, if that makes any difference. Also, I shot the Color Checker in bright sunlight. Was that a mistake?
