Are the background and subject being lit with the same lights?
A color cast in the camera should affect both the background and the subject. If the subject is multi-colored it might not show up as much as in the background, though. Differences in exposure could also show up a a color shift in the background.
Are you setting a custom white balance with both cameras? Or are you using a preset white balance? Or using auto white balance?
