Subject: Re: What does Nikon Capture 4.3 have that ACR does not?
Well, one thing that NC has that is lacking in ACR is automatic correction of vignetting. One can make such a correction in ACR, but it is manual and requires trial and error determination of what values to use for each focal length and aperture.
In the future automatic correction of distortion and chromatic aberration could also be achieved. I doubt if Adobe would take the trouble to maintain a database for all the lenses that could be used with the cameras that it supports. On the other hand, Nikon knows their own lenses.
