Sorry, I read something into your last response that wasn't there. It is far as I know, the only saving that is done if you "Open" the file from Camera Raw is that the changes you may to the raw file are saved. The actual image that you save, whether it be a JPEG or a PSD or a tiff image is done when you choose to do that from Photoshop. I'm not enough of an expert to know if Adobe changed the algorithm for saving JPEG images between the two versions so, hopefully, someone else can explain why there is a difference in the sizes.
