Exactly, Russell. That way it removes the confusion.
Also, I have recently discovered that the ACR 2.4 I was using was a beta version. The final version was still listed as 2.4. Maybe if it was listed as 2.4.1, or even 2.5 it would be more obvious.
I'm now easily converting Nikon D50 NEFs with DNG 3.3 and opening them in ACR 2.4 using PSCS on Windows 2000. :)
