Have you followed the steps in the "Debugging" thread? Have you read the FAQs? They're both on the same page where you added this topic.
Please read them and report back if you still have questions. If that should be the case, please give details about your platform (Windows or Macintosh), exact version of the OS, how and where you installed the ACR plug-in, whether you removed the old plug-in, whether you made sure to trash the Nikon plug-in, which Nikon camera generated the NEFs, etc.
