are you asking about embedding JPEGs in an NEF file? if so, which Nikon camera are you asking about? i can try to help, but i'd honestly think you'd find that information _much_ quicker in your camera manual than in this ACR forum.

eye think it would help if you would explain your question with better examples. :-)
