All along, I've been advocating correct exposure, not systematic overexposure.

Bruce, would you mind to elaborate?

If we treat the aim of digital exposure as "capture as much information as possible" so that we have maximum *flexibility* in post-processing to re-map the levels to the appropriate zones we want to produce/present in the final prints/images, why is it not a good idea to *systematically* overexpose (as long as we don't clip the highlight details which are important in our final prints/images)?
