Prior to this I thought that sensors were broadband enough to encompass
colour temperatures from tungsten to cloudy, very interesting, thanks.
If you expose to the right and avoid high ISO, I the sensors are broadand enough (IMHO) to obtain good results for most work. Of course, even if you do use filters, you could use an 80C for partial correction and do the rest digitally. Here is a reference I found useful:
