Personally I think the idea that people would consider the Nikon Capture way of handling WB as a model of "how it should be" as pretty funny. Nobody else uses 5200K as daylight, that I'm aware of. And the fact that they hide the tint value behind their presets is just lame, lame, lame. For instance according to the tables in their user manual, if Sunny - 2 and Flash are supposed to be the same value in degrees kelvin, then you would expect that the two settings would yield equivalent results. But they do not yield the same results, and the reason they do not is because the tint value used "under the hood" is different. Now if that makes sense to you, by all means keep using NC. But frankly, the idea that Adobe should cripple ACR's WB capabilities just to give someone a number that makes them happy is downright absurd.
