I'm new to ACR, so forgive my ignorance.

'XMP' files are saved for each calibration. Are these supposed to be calibration settings? If so, I cannot seem to load them for making any difference(?) I.E., no difference in color, nor any difference in the settings.

If I have indeed missed a "how to ...", are these XMP settings calibration only, or more than calibration?
