Thanks for the WB information. Seems the difference between 5200 and 6000 is reasonable. I supect you are on to something with the potential filter thickness variation.

I've managed to get fairly good results with calibration and also find consistency to be reasonable although I begin to see slight variation above 5800-6K and below 46-4800K. As stated in earlier posts, reds in particular are far too prominent and saturated at default calibration settings so the calibration process has been worthwhile.

I'll try shooting the chart under similar daylight conditions, although the solar spectrum changes significantly here on the 45th parallel depending upon season. Brilliant yellow glow when it's not raining this time of year!

I suspect a light cloud cover during mid morning would be best for purposes of this exercise? Similar to the SF fog I suppose.
