Subject: OSX + Camera Raw 3.3 - No Sharpening visible at less than 100%

I am using NEFs out of a Nikon D2x and D200. I have noted that my images in the latest ACR look less sharp than normal, but are fine when opened in PSCS2. I have sharpening set to all images in the CR preferences. After a bit of detective work I have observed that the sharpening slider has no visible effect unless viewing at 100%. At lower zoom levels it appears that sharpening is not shown on the images. The thumbnails in Bridge are similarly soft.

This is not the same behaviour as in the previous version of ACR. I also note that the same images when viewed under light room are fine at all zoom levels.

It seems that the rendering of the image does not take the sharpening slider into account unless at 100% zoom. Clearly the slider is taken into account when the image is then opened into PSCS2.

Is this a bug or a config issue. Please please tell me its not part of the redraw speed at certain zoom levels....Please
