Subject: Fuji S3 Pro Wide-2 D-Range files

I am using ACR 3.1 under Windows XP with 1 GB of RAM and Photoshop CS2 to process RAW files from a Fuji S3 Pro.
When converting RAW files shot in the Wide-2 Dynamic Range (The main attraction of the Fuji S3 Pro) there is a major difference between the Adobe Camera Raw and Fuji Hyper Utility 2 renderings. It appears that ACR reads only the S pixel data but not the R pixel data. When converting the same wide dynamis range image with both converters the differences are:

Hyper Utility 2: Size 4256 X 2848 (12 MP) converted to a 68.3 MB 16 bit Tiff file.

ACR: Size 3043 X 2036 (6.3 MP) converted to a 35.4 MB 16 bit Tiff file

The image on screen shows the difference in the shadow areas. The Hyper Utility image shows full detail in the shadow areas while ACR shown completely black shadows. Is there a problem with reading all the RAW data captured by the camera?
