Subject: Camera Raw Database Vs. XMP files
Please explain the difference (virtues) of using CR database vs XMP files for storing settings. I tried to figure out which one is best for my workflow but am having trouble understanding which is best.
Also, what happens if you delete an XMP file after the fact? I started off with this in my preferences and now have several files/thumbnails showing up in bridge. It is cluttering up my filing system. Anyway, to hide these if your explaination idicates that I should stick with the xmp files and not use CR database?
