Subject: Re: Poll Time: Post Your Top 5 Most Wanted Features For CS 3.

I work for a larg(ish) company and for the most part, Illustrator upgrades seem to come along in response to upgrading Photoshop and the layout software (we recently switched to InDesign during which Adobe was extremely accommodating)...

I can’t even imagine what we might be asking for in new versions of Illustrator since management doesn’t even seem to be aware of what the program already does and doesn’t have because nobody in our chain of command who is in a position to be taken seriously by Adobe uses the software...

That being said, I think I’m the only one on our graphics floor who uses brushes in a manner that goes beyond the ones that load by default when you first fire it up... And most of my co-workers seem to have only a vague understanding of what the gradient mesh tool does. Heck, I just recently was made aware of how valuable blends can be thanks to Teri and James on these forums...

I’d like to think that this Dilbert-like structure is unique to my place of employment when it comes to this kind of thing but I’m guessing it isn’t.

So my question which would be for Terri, is can you tell us what the actual top five requested features are at this point? (I realize you might not be able/allowed to discuss it)

Personally, I love your brush ideas and gradient mesh idea and would appreciate separations preview but I know that I’m in a subset of users in agreeing with people here on those.
