You've posted similar polls several times before, and never seem to get many takers, but I'll bite anyway.

1. The ability to select a gradient mesh, or a subset of the nodes in a gradient mesh, and in one action have it suck up the colors for the selected mesh nodes from an underlying image or other underlying art. This would save me literally days per illustration of manually eyedroppering colors from the image one mesh node at a time. A complex mesh illustration may contain tens of thousands of mesh nodes.

2. Inline graphics in text. (Note that this would enable distributing a mixture of graphics along a path by simply making every "character" on the path be a graphic.)

3. Graphics search and replace, especially the ability to detect graphics that are the same except for transformations, and replace them with symbol instances.

4. The ability to set scatter brush spacing to be a specified number of copies along a path.

5. The ability to define art brushes that stretch only in a specified mid-portion, and remain undistorted at the ends.

There are hundreds of other improvements I'd like too, but those are probably the ones I miss most.
