Subject: List of Features I'd like to see in AICS3
After seeing that Freehand is going to be killed off, I'd like to see the following adopted from FH:
Color replacement - I hate having to search through every shape to make sure they're all the same black (for example). FH is much easier here.
Text on path features improved - If I want two words wrapped around a circle, both with text reading right side up, in FH I merely need to hit the return key between them. It should be that simple in Illustrator too.
Scalable strokes - I can't remember if FH works this way or not, but if I enlarge an object or group of objects that have strokes, I want the strokes to grow proportionally as well.
Alignment tools - These are a mess in AI. I'd like them to work exactly as they do in FH (the same goes for InDesign).
Multiple pages - I'd really like the ability to have multiple pages and be able to vary the size like FH does. I know it's not a page layout program but I still see the need for it.
That's everything I can think of now. AI is a great program but there were many things in FH that are just so much easier.
