Subject: Improving the gradient tool
Illustrator is great, but I would really like to have a gradient tool functionality similar to that in Macromedia Flash MX Pro 2004.
It makes the fine tuning of gradients much easier and allows the creation of ellipsoidal gradients (AFAIK, Illustrator CS allows only linear and radial).
