Subject: EMF+ Support
Hi,
I'm looking to using vector files in my .NET 2.0 application. .NET supports WMF,EMF and EMF+ files natively.
I want to be able to let design-agencies (using Illustrator) to be able to create my images.
However, Illustrator only allows for export to WMF and EMF. Both files look very jagged (not antialiasing), and scales very badly when used in the Application (because of the old GDI calls). I want to use EMF+ files (which use the GDI+ commands). If I create a file in f.ex. PowerPoint, it creates a EMF+ file, which looks great, however, I cannot assume that someone wants to use PowerPoint to design our images.
Is there a way to (in proritized order):
- Export EMF+ images (not EMF) from Illustrator natively?
- Can I install/buy a plugin that does the EMF+ export?
- Can I buy a program that converts between AI AND EMF+?
- Can I convert EMF to EMF+ with a reasonable result?
