Subject: Batch conversions (much like Photoshop's Automate function)
I work with many .ai files on a daily basis, and even more frequently, people ask to see the artwork. Sending .ai files doesn't work, as they do not have Illustrator. So, sending as a PDF is the only way to go.
However, when dealing with 10 or more files, this becomes very tedious, and time consuming to do all by hand.
The built-in script only saves OPEN illustrator files to PDF. For large AI files, this tales up too much memory to do all at once. What we need is a function (or a script) that saves selected .AI files to PDF (either a selection, or a target folder, etc).
Or is there a way to do this already? ;-)
Thanks!
