Subject: convertPDFToRaster fails

Our AGS server rejects certain PDF files with the following error message:
Could not process the request because an unknown exception caused the command 'convertPDFToRaster' to fail

The PDF file is a PDF version 1.3 (Acrobat 4.x) file, created with PSProof.

We access AGS through a webservice.

Any idea? Is there a logfile i can check?
