I will have at least 3 images with 7205 x 5150 pixels each. They have lots of transparency. I want to put them into different layers. At this time the ags wont even load 2 of my images because of "not enough scratch memory available". are there any parameters to set to make it work ?

I have installed a process viewer to have a closer look at memory during execution of my XML-file. I was quite surprised that the java process above the ags needs more than 300MB... OK the AlterCastServer needs more than 900MB.
Anyway 300MB is quite much for an api-layer... Is there anything I can read about this topic ?
