OK, since I haven't found a solution, we're going to do what the Knowledgebase suggests: have the user manually change the file format to something that AGS supports.

Does anyone have a good document that shows what AGS does and doesn't support? We'd like to give our users a reference chart.

When we do find a format that isn't supported, is the best recommendation to save it to a Photoshop format? I would think that would be the best universal format, but I didn't know if there would be reasons to keep it in some other format - you don't loose anything, right?
