AGS can only handle 4 channels in CMYK images. (3 channels in RGB images)
- Open the problem TIFF in Photoshop. If the Channels pallete shows more than the CMYK channels, AGS won't be able to process it.
- If there are only 4 channels in the TIFF, do a "Save As" of the TIFF.
In the second "save" dialog: "TIFF Options" make sure that "Save Transparency" is not selected. If it is, AGS can't process the file--even if the file doesn't use transparency. Continuing the "Save As" of the file with the "Save Transparency" option unchecked should result in a file that AGS can processs.
In any case, the only workaround is to reduce the number of channels in Photoshop.
