Thanks for the pointer to the source PDFs.

I tried them in Acrobat 7 and they failed too so it's probably not Document Server which is causing the corruption.

The source files were created from Framemaker6 using "Acrobat Distiller Command 3.0 for HP-UX A.09.01 and later (HPPA)" which I guess, from the HP-UX version number, is quite old!

I'll have to contact my IT support to see if we can get a newer version.
