Subject: Re: OffendingCommand: image
The Knowledgebase only applies to Raster content (includes PSD and JPEG). AGS/ADS don't have commands to modify the color settings of PDFs.
The imageInfo command only applies to Raster content and not to PDFs.
If converting a PDF to a grayscale look meets your needs, you could try something like this:
- load the PDF
- convert to Raster
- convert to a grayscale look per the knowledgebase
- convert back to a PDF
- save
The above is an awkward solution and may not deliver the quality you need due to the conversions from PDF to Raster and back to PDF. Have you looked at PDF preflight tools (from other vendors) to see if they might better meet your needs?
