I have found out part of the problem...

The tag in the SVG file are empty. In an older, coloured, file the tag contained this:

Now my next question is: How do I create or make sure that the changes made to the diagram also appears in the SVG template.

Interrestingly enough, when no variable data is sent, the diagram uses the values as drawn... I wounder where those settings are saved...
