Subject: Re: Does AGS recognise textbox tags in SVG files?

The recommended way to change text in SVG with AGS is using applyVariables. (For SVG created in Illustrator.)

The AGS "set" command can mimic an XML parser and can change just about anything in SVG that you can write an xPath for. This is most useful for hand written SVG. (The xPaths can change when Illustrator SVG is edited and resaved.)

The set command allows you to set the values of specific elements and attributes of XML and SVG content, and of specific properties of Raster content. Use abbreviated XPath syntax to specify target elements and attributes. For a complete description of the XPath syntax that AGS supports, see the AGS XML Grammars Reference.
