Subject: Problem with importFDF using XFDF input
I am trying out ADS (windows platform). I have cloned the importFDF.xml example using .xfdf input. I am executing the process at the DOS commandline. If I execute the command file that comes with ADS, I have no problem. If I execute my cloned command file, the file that is produced displays the blank PDF (not a PDF populated with XFDF data as I expect).
I can see in the Commands Reference manual that the command importFormData does not work with XFA-based PDF files. How can I tell if my PDF is XFA-based (it is a file I got from a Federal Agency, not one we create)? If I look at the PDF in a text editor, I can see 'PDF-1.4' at the top.
