Subject: EPS processing: resolution of preview used instead of native

When I process an EPS image with the following commands (I use the "runxml" script):

I get a wrong resolution in the "saved_metadatafile" file, it says "72" dpi, where I would expect 300 dpi:

4
65535
72/1
72/1
2

8
8
8
8

Adobe Graphics Server 2.0

974
707

I suspect that it is the preview embedded in the EPS that is 72 dpi, but how do I get the real resolution? Is my command sequence incorrect?
