Douglas, I mean all sorts of metadata!

For illustration, I include below the XMP metadata extracted from a JPEG file created as follows: PEF > DNG > DNG+XMP (using Bridge+ACR) > PSD > JPEG (using ImageReady).

(You can have a look at the XMP metadata in a file using MS Word! Try it. I copied this using Control+C from a JPEG opened by MS Word).

You will see that it includes ACR settings & edits, ACR camera calibration, EXIF-like data, rights & asset management metadata, etc.
